About this event:
According to Armstrong AMT professor of music and percussionist Stephen Primatic, D.M.A., “this concert is the one whirlwind opportunity all year when you can hear all of our student ensembles on the same concert. It’s a fun, quick-fire transition from choir to jazz to percussion to band.”
Showcase performing groups include University Chorale, University Singers, and AMT’s Wind, Percussion, and Jazz Ensembles.
Highlights from the 2014 concert include Duke Elllington’s Jack The Bear, percussionist Lynn Glassock’s Teamwork, and band master Frank Ticheli’s Wild Nights.
A little something for every music lover, “Showcase” every Armstrong Music student on stage in one night:
:: Percussion Ensemble
:: University Chorale
:: Jazz Ensemble
:: University Singers
:: Wind Ensemble
Music scholarship recipients benefit from the concert’s proceeds.
