Armstrong Partners With Small Business Institute to Help Local Companies Succeed

(September 9, 2015) – Armstrong State University is spearheading a new partnership with the Small Business Institute that allows the university’s business economics students to perform free consulting work for local companies while earning class credit.

Two Professors Secure Grant to Foster Interest in Technology and the Arts

(Aug. 22, 2015) — The American Association of University Women (AAUW), the nation’s leading organization promoting equity and education for female students, recently awarded $7,000 to Armstrong State University Art professors Rachel Green and Angela Horne for their Community Action Grant proposal, “FashionTECH: Engaging Girls in STEAM through Fashion.”

University Receives $1.1 Million Grant for Student Support Services

(August 19, 2015) – U.S. Congressman Buddy Carter recently announced that Armstrong State University has been awarded a $1.1 million TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
